Position: Game Programmer
Started: August 2010
Ended: Still there!
After being made redundant at Realtime Worlds, I immediately started looking for a new job and – thanks to a tip from a friend – within a day I had a new job working at Tag Games!
Tag Games are a small(ish) developer, focusing on the hand-held market. They are rapidly growing, after all I was roughly the 16th member of staff and the company is now sitting just under 30 people. The have developed several well received titles such as Car Jack Streets, Astro Ranch and Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time. As part of their self publishing arm Tagplay, they have just released a new IP Fun Park Friends and are working on the sequel to Car Jack Streets.
I’m really enjoying working at the company and have managed to work on a variety of projects. I’ve worked on things from Doctor Who to a small adversising application plugin to the Android side of the in-house engine MoFlow.
